Random cheering-up post

Hey. It seems like we're hearing a lot of bad stuff in the news lately. I'm not here to complain about that. We need to know these things. But sometimes it seems like the bad stuff is all there is. Like there's no happiness or kindness left in the world. And that's not altogether true. Yes, we are a messed up people. Yes, life is rough. But that's not the end.

When worrying about the future, it's good to remember this quote from the Christmas Carol:

"Are these the shadows of things that will be, or the shadows of things that may be only? These events can be changed. A life can be made right!" - Ebeneezer Scrooge

The world is most certainly messed up. But somewhere, someone, even just one person, can be turning a life right, and maybe saving others at the same time, with little acts of courage and love.
